Using this I, a petite person, can carry my 80+lbs GSD with an injury down 3 flights of stairs and my sister and I can share the load and get him back up the stairs. That's the miracle we needed and I'll take it. It's not super comfortable, but it works.
However, there two some design flaws that if addressed would make this 5 star worthy.
1) The velcro straps that hold the center piece on are useless as is. They're far too long and the "sticky" part is only on the ends. I had to make alterations to get them to hit the right spot to grip and without them, it's almost impossible to get the sling on without help.
2) The pad for the shoulder strap should be wider and thicker and it would be great to have two for when using with a partner.
3) I tried this XXl on my 80 lbs GSD and tried the XL on him and my 60 lbs cattle dog, and don't think there's any possible way the "pee hole" would ever be effective. It's not possible to get the sling tight enough or stable enough for that to align correctly as far as I can tell.
