Using this I, a petite person, can carry my 80+lbs GSD with an injury down 3 flights of stairs and my sister and I can share the load and get him back up the stairs. That's the miracle we needed and I'll take it. It's not super comfortable, but it works. However, there two some design flaws that if addressed would make this 5 star worthy. 1) The velcro straps that hold the center piece on are useless as is. They're far too long and the "sticky" part is only on the ends. I had to make alterations to get them to hit the right spot to grip and without them, it's almost impossible to get the sling on without help. 2) The pad for the shoulder strap should be wider and thicker and it would be great to have two for when using with a partner. 3) I tried this XXl on my 80 lbs GSD and tried the XL on him and my 60 lbs cattle dog, and don't think there's any possible way the "pee hole" would ever be effective. It's not possible to get the sling tight enough or stable enough for that to align correctly as far as I can tell.

  • LISPOO Dog Hip Brace for Hip Dysplasia
I have a nine (9) month old puppy with hip dysplasia. Running left her lame with heat radiating from her hips. Using the Lispoo Dog Hip Brace she can run with her dog friends, chase squirrels in the park, generally romp around twice a day off leash without issue, no limping afterwards, no heat on her hips. The Hip Brace has been a game changer for my little girl.

Excellent way to trim doggie toe nails when they’re not so sure.

He didn't like me using the straps on his back legs as he was hurting, other than that, durable, comfortable and easy to stick around shoulders to carry him around from point A to point B. I also was able to do his nail trims with out spending mass amounts of money due to his severe anxiety with baths and nail trims.

Purchased this to carry my dog up and down stairs after his TPLO surgery. This saved me a lot of money on the airbnb's I was renting out to make sure there were no stairs to climb anywhere. The only thing to note is that there is a pretty huge difference between the XL and L sizes. I initially bought an X-Large for my 42 pound mixed breed because he has a big German Shepherd chest. It fit well but was too loose up top. It still worked for us but I decided to purchase the Large instead, and somehow the Large barely even closes around my dog's body. It feels more like a medium. The velcro straps are also about half the width of the XL size, making it more difficult to put on. I'm on the shorter side so I decided to keep the Large because it fits my body a little better, but overall neither sizes really fit my dog well. Just something to keep in mind that for mixed breeds sizing may be tricky!

This is very sturdy and allowed us to help our dog be safe on the stairs so she could sleep in her bed.

This product helped so much the last week of my dogs life. He couldn't walk and he was 85 pounds so very hard for me to lift . Especially into the car and buggy. I dont know what i would have done without this life-savor!

Having learned from previous experiences, having something like this on hand is great! We've had a dog I couldn't easily lift alone not get up. With this, I've easily trained by dogs to not only let me secure them inside but to let me fully pick them up if needed! They feel safe and fully held, never once squirming like they were afraid to slip out

I wish I had found this style sooner, but there is room for improvement. I got the small because my dog was within those measurements. Actually on the top end for the size with a 17” chest. The front leg holes are too small and the neck area is not tight, so the front scoots back and restricts his front leg movement. The rear leg holes are a little too small for his hips and causes his paralyzed legs to hang at an odd angle. I’m going to have to drag out my sewing machine and tighten up the front and add a closure to keep it from blocking his front leg movement. It’s a decent start to a product, but I guess you get what you pay for at this price point…a template to work with. I will say I like the closures. Very easy to work one-handed when dealing with a squirmy dog.
