  • Dog Lift and Mobility Support Harness
My dog Tank, German Shepard)was diagnosed with bone cancer. He had no problem going down steps but would fall going back up. He seemed to welcome being carried back up the stairs with this. Unfortunately he got so bad that we had to have him put down. It’s in storage now, I have another German Shepard. Hopefully I’ll never have to use it again but I have it in case I do.

  • Oxford Dog Lift Harnesses For Front Leg
I have an elderly American bulldog that sometimes has issues with arthritis. She is about 80lbs. It was so hard to try to use a separate harness and support at the same time. This has made it so much easier to help her but also doesn't kill my back. Very happy with this purchase.

This was very helpful when our girl had issues with her front legs. Easy to put on and take off.

I rely on consumer feedback when evaluating products on Amazon. I thought I would post a review if you are considering this dog sling. My 12 year old Doberman is 95 pounds and is having a hard time using the steps (5) to get outside. He can go down but refuses to go up…most likely because of nerve damage in his spinal cord and fear that he will fall. I needed something immediately. I live alone so it would have to be a solution that I could use by myself. I saw the video and how one person could lift the dog by using the shoulder straps. This was no easy task for someone my height (5’3). I’m pretty strong but it took everything I had to get him up the stairs. He wanted nothing to do with it, initially. It might be easier for someone taller and I’m sure it works better with smaller dogs. Nonetheless, it does work. Definitely works well with two people when each person grabs one of the handles. I noticed that after a week, he started getting comfortable with the sling and trusting it more. He was willing to try to go up with me helping. I stand behind him, holding the handles, and lift his backside up while he uses his front paws. I don’t need the shoulder straps if he is participating. It works great now. Just give your dog a week. It took a minute to figure out how to attach it to him, but I can do it in the dark now. Four clips and velcro on top. I got the largest size and it was a little big. If I would have known I would have ordered the next size down.

  • Full Body Dog Lifting Harness With Storage Bag
Got this for my 5lb dog who is recovering from surgery. I bought small. She is about 10 " along the back and I used that measurement to select the size. This is VERY well made with lots of comfort padding. My primary use, at least right now, is to use as a carry sling as she is supposed to be on cage rest and NOT walking much at all. The sling/carrier allows me to tote her around as she is developing a case of separation anxiety when left in the cage alone. The carrier allows me to work and do chores and take her along (and I can still use both arms). For my uses, this has been great. Later I will use it as a grooming aid to get those nails!! Well worth the money.

Our frenchie broke his growth plate in his knee. The vet gave us a sling to use but it was useless. He would come right out of that. This was perfect to take the weight off his leg. Easy adjustable between 5’ me and 6’ hubby.

Really liked this harness. Needed extra support for our wobbly doggie and this saved our backs and his legs. It is pretty big and I probably should’ve ordered a smaller size but I thought I measured correctly. We made it work!

This was a lifesaver for my hound mix (60lbs) that had double ACL surgery. My boyfriend was able to lift her up and down the stairs for a couple of weeks. Excellent product but wish the straps Velcro was longer for a tighter support.

  • Dog Lift Harness for Waist
In a matter of a month, my dog’s arthritis got so bad she was unable able to stand up by herself. And I moved to a house with stairs getting in and out of the house. She’s 46lbs so carrying her was not an option. This has made her life so much easier. It’s adjustable so you can make it comfortable for you both. I help her down the stairs and up again. She’s able to walk on her own. She was leery at first but I allow my leg to touch her side as we walk down the stairs together. After three weeks she’s a pro. I would recommend you use a leash loosely to keep control going down the stairs.

This is a very sturdy harness. My 94 pound boxers back was going out and I bought it to help him up and down the stairs. At the end I had to carry him up and down with the straps and they held up, did not rip or strain at all. My dog passed unfortunately but this definitely helped make it easier for him and I at the end. Highly recommend.
