Size: L I use it as a walking aid for my dog. Perhaps it's not a standard body shape, but the back side is tightened all the way, and the front side is loose, and the front hook is too tight, so I added a carabiner. It takes a little time to put it on, but the dog seems to enjoy it, so it's okay.

70lb dog with a barrel chest. I bought her an XL. This product actually works pretty well. I have an 11 year old, 70lb pit bull who was diagnosed with Lymphoma about a month ago so her energy levels are hit and miss. I have been taking her hiking every weekend since the diagnoses to make sure that the end of her life is as full as possible. This product allows me to support her when she doesn't want to walk anymore so we can actually hit the hiking trails. Today was her second time wearing and it allowed me to take her rock climbing in the river bed over some very large boulders like she used to do all of the time when she was a pup. The only problem with the harness is that the provided shoulder strap does NOT reach your shoulders; nowhere close. I got around that by hooking her leash to itself in a circle around the hand hold and then putting her leash cross ways over my shoulder and it works very well. The only reason I don't give this product a perfect 5 stars is that if I have to fully pick her up with the harness, it hits her neck and chokes her; but as a walking aid and full body support it works perfectly. So happy that I bought it to help me give my baby girl as much as I can before I have to let her go.

The harness works great for my dog whose back legs have been giving out on her due to old age. It makes it so much easier to take her outside.

Our 15 year old pup was recovering from Old Dog Vesibular Disease and still had a bit of a head tilt which when mixed with his arthritis in his back hips made for a topsy turvy kid of pupper. He thinks he can do it all which was the problem. Running around outside, attempting stairs but we would have to grab him before he tips over. Now with this harness there is not only a handle to support him from tipping over but a handle to grab him when he starts tipping as well and lucky for us he is just long enough (and old enough) that the M harness stops just before his special spot so he can pee with it on. Which is a plus be we didnt need it for grooming or transport but for everyday support. Very much worth the price to give him back some freedom

Our German Shepherd is an older dog and a rescue dog so, her health and safety is highly important to me. This Coodeo sling makes it so easiy in getting her up into our vehicle a Traverse SUV. She has just had surgery for a torn TTA (ACL) which means we needed something as an assist to safely and carefully lift and controll her movements. As a full body product it doest cram up under ber belly. It doesn't fall off her body like the regular sling that just was the mid section. When she is further along in her healing I will update with photos. ❤❤❤

  • Dog Sling For Back Legs Harness
Upon purchasing I was reading reviews and I was very skeptical on purchasing. People said they couldn’t figure it out or it wasn’t for small dogs… but that’s not true! I have a 5 year old 21 lb cavapoo that just went through major spinal surgery. He basically can’t use his rear legs and when he does he is all over the place with deer legs/drunken legs. So I decided to give it a try because it even has free returns, so why not! I got a size small and it fit him perfect!! There are two black straps.. you basically put them together in the hand holder and the legs literally just slip on. It’s that easy. The only thing that is on your dog is the two leg holders, the two black straps are what your holding. I think it’s great! I have been bladder expressing him for a while now and everytime I took him outside I would be hurting my back hunched over holding his hind legs up. Now I use the harness and he’s peeing outside on his own!!! I love it!!! Doesn’t mess or pull in his stitches or anything. Recommend for anyone who has a dog who recently has surgery or can’t use their hind legs!

I like that we do not need to worry about getting our 14 year old 70 pound dog upstairs at night so he can sleep by us. It is a very easy to use harness that totally helps the owner and the pet to feel secure about making it up or down stairs.

This is a just what I needed. My 13.5 labradoodle has been losing strength in his rear legs and is knuckling. If I had had this early on I could have managed him much better. We are at the very end, and it would have really helped him so much, but I didn't know. The price is great, shipping was quick. Relatively easy to set up and use, really like the rear leg support, instead of an under body sling. When I took him out with it on, he actually trotted around. So my advice to any of you, don't wait this can add a little quality of life on the dreaded end of life.

I bought this harness to help me control my dog after hip replacement surgery. We were told the dog must be walked slowly 4 times a day for 10 minutes expanding to 20 minutes over 3 months. The dog is not allowed to run, jump, or spin for12 weeks. This harness helped me take my dog on controlled walks, yet it is very comfortable for her to wear. If she gets excited and wants to run, jump, or spin I can simply pick her up like a suitcase until she calms down. I don't know how I would have been able to control her on these therapy type walks without this harness. It's a great recovery tool and I highly recommend it.

It was not long after we received our dog sling when we had to put it into use. Our last senior dog (Duke) had to be taken to the vet to go to the rainbow bridge to be with his buddy (Buster, the dog we lost before before Duke). Duke was in pain and it helped to carry and lift him in and out of the vehicle. It also helped with his walking when we put him down as he would have not been able to do any of this by himself. It really helped with him in the end. The sling arrived when told it would and it worked the way it was advertised. Thank you for helping us with our senior baby.
