I got this after my senior dog tore her acl. We use it to help her get out to the grass to do her business and to get back inside. It works really well clearly she is rather large so it is heavy but it's easy to put on and does it's job. She doesn't look uncomfortable or in any pain when we use it and seems really sturdy. She's 72 pounds.

I have a 16-year-old Shih Tzu who has undergone four back surgeries for herniated discs. Her last surgery was only partially successful and, although she is able to walk, her back legs are weak. This harness provides a good assist for her and also allows me to support and even pick her up easily when needed. It’s thoughtfully designed so that it doesn’t press on her neck and allows plenty of space for potty duties. It’s also well padded for comfort. I only wish it had a ring on the front of the harness to which to attach a leash to lead her forward. The adjustable sling is great for support but if she doesn’t want to walk, trying to urge her forward with the sling only results in her spinning around in circles. Since a collar and leash is out of the question for this dog (doctor’s orders!) a ring on the front of the harness would be a great addition. But I’ll still give it five stars for overall design and quality.

My Rottweiler was hit my car and for 2 solid months she could not move anything other than head slightly. This harness allowed me by myself to lift my 97lb Rottweiler to bring her to the car to go to the and down the steps from the back door out into the yard and give her that change of scenery she desperately need during her recovery.

I am impressed with the thoughtfulness that must have gone into designing this dog lift harness. As my little dog ages, I have noticed that he is less comfortable being lifted. On occasion he has yelped and that is so distressing. This harness fully supports his belly, so his back doesn't get torqued when lifting. It's easy for him to step into, and the padded back leg holes support his little hips. I especially like the handles on this sides. I don't need to use it all the time but glad to have it on hand.

The quality of the product is great in that it’s strong and nothing on it feels cheap. It works very well for lifting my large dog into the car creating more balance between the front and rear handles. Best harness yet after purchasing 3 others!

This fit perfectly but Shiloh my weinerdog was very worried about the leg straps. These straps are adjustable but even after fitting it just right she was still upset. It may take a gradual acceptance by using it for small amount of time as a walking harness. I am hopeful that this will bring back pain relief. It says it is made of “1mm SBR diving material combined with 400g sandwich mesh, allowing the dog to stay comfortable when worn for a long time”so it might be hot in a warm climate. It feels similar to neoprene.Unsure about pain relief at this point, so will report back in an update. It’s good on stability, and a good price/ value. It is well sewn and the only rubbing spots are the leg straps. It does not cause her to stretch her back uncomfortably.Shiloh is 9 yrs old, 3 lbs. overweight, does not currently have back trouble ( I’ve worried about her weight causing it), had a broken hind leg as a younger dog, so I’m not sure if that’s the reason she’s troubled by leg straps. I’m not sure if cutting the straps in back would defeat the purpose. I was hoping she would act like it felt good. We will update

  • Dog Leg Brace with Reflective Metal Support
I purchased the hinged dog leg brace for my yorkshire terrier and it really helps! My dog has been having difficulty moving his back legs, but since starting to use this knee brace, his condition has improved tremendously. This brace is very lightweight, easy to put on, and of great quality. I particularly like the design and my daughter doesn't reject it either. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great Support This is an excellent harness. I have a 14 year old do who still wants to go but doesn't like me to pick her up. I like that there are handles in front, middle and back and the padded straps go around the back legs. I can easily boost her up steep trails and pick her up to put her in the car. I highly recommend if you have a dog who needs an occasional boost when out walking.

Very sturdy product and the dog seems happy in it as well. It's also got some nice padding for carrying. I was using it to help trim his feet and nails and it works wonders. It also works well for getting him into the back of our car for vet appointments. He's extremely old, blind and deaf but he seems to be a lot happier since we got this for him. When we go out for walks we'll use this and even though he can't see he can still feel the breeze and seeing his little tail wag means the world. I have no complaints and I would recommend this for any who has a dog with mobility issues.
