Got this for my 5lb dog who is recovering from surgery. I bought small. She is about 10 " along the back and I used that measurement to select the size. This is VERY well made with lots of comfort padding. My primary use, at least right now, is to use as a carry sling as she is supposed to be on cage rest and NOT walking much at all. The sling/carrier allows me to tote her around as she is developing a case of separation anxiety when left in the cage alone. The carrier allows me to work and do chores and take her along (and I can still use both arms). For my uses, this has been great. Later I will use it as a grooming aid to get those nails!! Well worth the money.

Our frenchie broke his growth plate in his knee. The vet gave us a sling to use but it was useless. He would come right out of that. This was perfect to take the weight off his leg. Easy adjustable between 5’ me and 6’ hubby.

Really liked this harness. Needed extra support for our wobbly doggie and this saved our backs and his legs. It is pretty big and I probably should’ve ordered a smaller size but I thought I measured correctly. We made it work!

In a matter of a month, my dog’s arthritis got so bad she was unable able to stand up by herself. And I moved to a house with stairs getting in and out of the house. She’s 46lbs so carrying her was not an option. This has made her life so much easier. It’s adjustable so you can make it comfortable for you both. I help her down the stairs and up again. She’s able to walk on her own. She was leery at first but I allow my leg to touch her side as we walk down the stairs together. After three weeks she’s a pro. I would recommend you use a leash loosely to keep control going down the stairs.

This is a very sturdy harness. My 94 pound boxers back was going out and I bought it to help him up and down the stairs. At the end I had to carry him up and down with the straps and they held up, did not rip or strain at all. My dog passed unfortunately but this definitely helped make it easier for him and I at the end. Highly recommend.

It is so convenient to help her stand up and get her up and down stairs. It has been a blessing for my 17-year-old dog. I have had a stroke and it is very convenient for me to help her.

The harness was well-made and probably extremely useful for a dog with both front legs but my dog had osteosarcoma, fractured the front leg and had to have it taken off. We needed a harness to help him with stability but the way this is constructed, it went right across where the incision was so it was not comfortable for him. I would highly recommend it for a dog with both front legs! Very sturdy!

Best thing I found for my 15 y/o Shih Tzu. He’s really small (7.2 lbs) and his hind legs are really weak. About 6 weeks ago, they just kind of gave out and the vet put him on anti inflammatory meds and pain meds. I bought this harness to provide him with support while doing his business but didn’t have high hopes cause my dog is so small. Now, exactly 4 weeks later, he's up to about 80% use of his hing legs!! It took me a few days to get the hang of putting it on him by myself (took 2 people for the first few days) but I couldn’t be happier that I found this thing. I even considered getting another one (just to have something to use while one is washing and drying). My only complaint is that the actual strap adjusts too easily… I had to sew it in one position to keep it from moving while walking.

I’m so grateful for this harness. My baby was diagnosed with diabetes 2 years ago and the initial attempts to inject her insulin went very badly. She didn’t have an aggressive or mean bone in her body, she just wouldn’t sit still or cooperate. I live alone so I didn’t have anyone to help hold her still. She would pull away which would cause the needle to hurt her. And me once. I didn’t think I’d be able to treat her and was afraid I would lose her. I wasn’t willing to struggle with her two times per day for the rest of her life. That would have been upsetting for both of us. But I just wasn’t ready to say goodbye. Then I remembered seeing a pic of someone using something like this to trim their dog’s nails and thought I’d give it a try. This absolutely did the trick! She always willingly allowed me to put her harness on and hoist her up! She never ever resisted it and we got a good routine down. My angel recently passed away. While it never seems like enough time, I will forever be grateful for the extra years this harness bought us. Hug your pets 💕 🐶

Despite the sling continually bunching together when I used it on my dog, it did a GREAT job helping me to assist my baby girl to walk and to be able to get up into my car. My baby seemed to appreciate the help. It made a HUGE difference for her in her last few days on this earth. I'm going to store it away in case I ever need to use it for another dog.
