My Labrador was diagnosed with double hip dysplasia over a year ago. We managed that with supplements, but then she blew out her knee in February. At 8.5 years the vets deemed her inoperable. We let her knee heal for two months then got a CrawlPaw brace for her back leg. All my gal wants to do is fetch whatever and go swimming. This brace has allowed her to do what she loves in granted small amounts, but she smiles the whole time. It allows her to play without her knee slipping out! If your dog is inoperable, I highly suggest this brace. My gal is happier with it. my only complaint is that is slips of her hips sometime.
