Wow! I can’t say enough good things about this feeder. And I am not using it for when I go on vacation either. It’s for ALL the time. Why? Cat food that stays out gets stale. The cats smell that it’s old and always go to the fresher food. This keeps the dry food in the hopper and releases it as you want either on a schedule or on command. My cats preferred this to their regular bowl I would always keep filled. The ONLY drawback is that you need a 2.4GHZ WiFi connection for the initial setup. Most have this option so it shouldn’t be an issue. Once it’s setup it is completely customizable. Love it more than I thought I would.

I got this feeder as a way to feed my cat during a day-long trip from home. I tested it out for a week before leaving for the trip and it is wonderful! I now consistently have it feeding my cat, which helps when I want to sleep in during the mornings or have any day-long trips. The feeder being double powered, by an electric plug or by battery, is very comforting. I even tested it out myself by unplugging it and it stayed on the whole day feeding my cat right on time for each meal For the food I feed my cat, one portion is about 1/16th of a cup. The manual is easily understandable, it is easy to customize the meal time and portions (each meal time can have its own different portions!). This is a solid product for a great price!

I'm not sure how big I should get, but I'm glad I got one! My dog is about 35 lbs and this size fits him perfectly. He had trouble walking when he first put them on, but then I saw adjustable buttons around the back. When I tightened them and adjusted them a little higher, it was easier for him to walk. I can't wait to see how this does on rainy and snowy days!

It helps a lot. The problem I see is the strip that goes from behind to the harness. It breaks easily. It should be sewn further in. But otherwise it is very well thought out. It helps a lot to walk without pain
