It does help with walking and helped our dog with a broken femur. Makes it easier to lie down, as well, but makes it more difficult to stand. Please, please help your dog to stand when wearing the brace to alleviate strain on the good ACL.

Dog Lift Harness for Waist

This worked very well for my dog after CCL surgery. Much easier than the beach towel the vet recommended. If you have a tall dog, it won't work though, because the straps are adjustable, but I have a smallish German Shepherd and the height of this was perfect with the adjustable straps at the very shortest height, so her height or anything shorter will work, but if she was taller, the harness would have been too long for using it properly. Keep that in mind if you have a really big (tall) dog.

Dog Carpal Brace For Support

My bull mastiff has bone cancer in her front leg. The bone is weakening and she is progressively limping more and starting to not move as much. This brace supports her leg and allows her to go out and play rough with her buddy Great Dane. She runs around the yard like she hasn't been willing to for quite a while. I use both Left and Right on her right leg. I had to buy a second set because she will run onto the step in the pool and get it soaked. She doesn’t mind wearing the brace and will stand patiently to get it put on. It is very easy and only takes a minute. My only issue is why didn’t I get this earlier in this journey.
