I ordered this product last minute for a 26+ hour road trip, looking for a backseat carrier for our two, sensitive, and slightly crazy 16-pound cats. We already had two flexible individual cat carriers, but I wanted them to have more space while being close to each other without direct contact, and this carrier's double capacity and center divider fit the bill perfectly.
Upon arrival, it was partially assembled, with some of the middle framework already in place. Connecting and inserting the remaining tubes was straightforward. Even before completing assembly, both cats took turns exploring the tunnel components.
During the drive, we loaded the assembled dome into the backseat. Initially, we positioned it incorrectly, with the side window-doors facing the backseat. Realizing our mistake, we flipped it around so the driver and passenger could easily unzip and reach in to provide treats, water, pets, or anything else they needed.
Overall, it's a fantastic carrier—durable, spacious, with many passages, and well-ventilated, making our little cats feel comfortable. I gave it a 5-star rating because the zippers and locks are sturdy, which I appreciate after seeing many unfortunate experiences with weak carrier zippers on Amazon.😂😂😂
