I really liked the fabric. It’s nice and stretchy which helped to test out different positions for the wrap on my dog. It does slide a bit, so I need to readjust from time to time. But that’s bound to happen when a dog is moving around. My 8.5 year old lab has torn her knee ligament and we’ve been using this to get her used to having something on her knee and to give her some support before a custom brace is made. It makes her remember to take it easy on her knee without decreasing her mobility.

I understand the method and how this product could assist in canine recovery. It’s good quality. I like the simplicity of it and easy to get on and off. I ordered the large size for my male German Shepherd. Only problematic feature would be the strap that goes under the belly sits right over his junk. However for any female breed this brace would be great.

First of all the only other option for my Tina’s Acl fracture would have been a 3000 dollar surgery. At 14 we decided that would be too risky for her so we shopped around and saw some great reviews for this product. The first time I ordered a large but it was too big for her. Tina is half Rottweiler and half blue heeler so she has a big body and short legs. So then we ordered a medium and that fit perfect. Tina loves it ! It’s heart warming to see her not in so much pain anymore.

My 11 year old golden retriever hurt her knee a few months ago and we have tried lots of rest and meds from the vet, but she was really depressed. We tried this brace as a last resort to improve her quality of life and try to avoid surgery, and it is actually a life saver! My dog is used to wearing a vest, so she didn't mind wearing the brace, although it took her a minute to get used to it. She only wears it on walks and then we take it off at home to minimize any skin irritation or fur pulling. All her other joints are still in great shape thanks to years of glucosamine supplements, so hopefully this brace along with with med injections will let her enjoy her walks for years to come!

The brace was very solid, stable and well-made. Overall, we give it 5 stars except even though we measured our dogs leg carefully it was too long to fit a short dog. We could not get it to work. If we had it would have been awesome! If you have a short dog with short legs like a dachshund, I suggest a size smaller than what the website suggests.
